Share files between Ubuntu and Mac OS X

Everytime a friend comes by he has some files I really want. And everytime I'm wondering howto get to his share. So this stupid post will help me out in the future. In Ubuntu

1. open a Nautilus-window
2. put "smb://ip-of-the-macosx-box/username" in the location bar

BTW: you can enable the location bar by pressing CTRL+L, if you want to display the location-bar by default you can do it like described below:

1. open "Applications -> System Tools -> Configuration Editor
2. find "/apps/nautilus/preferences/always_use_location_entry"
3. click the checkbox on
