Selfmade WAMP (3): Installatie MySQL

Open mysql-essential-5.0xx-win32.msi, kies voor "Custom" bij Setup Type. Klik "Next" en "Install", je zal dan de vraag krijgen om een MySQL.com-account aan te maken, kies hier voor "Skip Sign-up". Nadien kom je terecht in de MySQL Configuration Wizard. Kies voor Standard Configuration. In het volgende scherm kies je voor "Install as Windows Service", en vink "Launch the MySQL Server automatically" en "Include Bin Directory in Windows PATH" aan. Klik "Next" en "Install". Om te controleren of alles goed is gegaan klik je op Start - "All Programs" - "MySQL" - "MySQL Server 5.0" - "MySQL Command Line Client". Er opent een DOS-venster, waarin je je root-pass zal moeten ingeven. Indien dit lukt dan is alles succesvol geïnstalleerd. Andere stappen
